BikeMinder.ca is the home of the M!nder bike alarm–an innovative, super-intelligent theft-deterrent for bicycles. motorcycles, ATVs and the like. The first of its kind.
Design started in June 2016, with the bulk of the technical work completed by 2019. Remaining technical challenges, and the Covid-19 pandemic, delayed completion till 2022. After productization and further refinements, roll-out began in 2023.
The computer engineer who invented the M!nder is Ali (‘Arta’) Bahar–with decades of experience in engineering systems and in bike commuting. More about him is covered on his personal site, bikeminder.org/info/about/ .
