The current hassle is getting shipments from China. Not that I am ready to order the product’s entire components; it is only a sample, for now, but I need to prepare for a coming, large shipment as well.
But that is not like ordering from a shop; delivery has to be handled by _yourself_! That requires knowledge of shipping logistics: ports, customs, sea freight and Incoterms, air freight, etc etc etc.
I know enough to know that I don’t know. Suffice to say that I now have a clear–rather than vague–notion of what freight forwarders and customs brokers do!
